CONTACT DETAILS FOR PARENTS TO BE FOR OXFORD UNIVERSITY HOSPITALS

The Oxford University Hospitals are offering a telephone helpline ‘As the midwife’ which is open from 11am – 7pm every day (including weekends) for non-urgent queries for women registered to give birth at the Trust. The helpline number is: 07919 213 667

HOW TO CONTACT US

If you are wanting an appointment/advice/or need to contact us, please call us on 01865 515731. We are running a telephone triage service for all patients. Please note it may take slightly longer to get through on the telephones during this time - so please bare with us. Alternatively you can contact the team via email on reception.brmc@nhs.net and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

APPOINTMENTS

If you have a pre-booked appointment our reception team or practice nurse will try and contact you to talk you through the procedure of attending the surgery and to check that you are well and not suffering with any symptoms from the virus. If we are unable to contact you please ring the doorbell by the front door and await instructions. Where possible attend alone, if assistance is needed please restrict this to one person.

Nurse and healthcare assistant appointments will continue for treatments that need to be continued and urgent needs.

We are encouraging parents to continue to bring children/book children in for their childhood immunisations. However we do ask that you restrict attendees to one parent per child. Please note these appointments will also be spread out across the day.

PRESCRIPTIONS

All requests must be made via;

- online via the patient access portal

- by emailing reception.brmc@nhs.net

- you can post a paper request through our letterbox

Please where possible, choose a pharmacy which you would like your prescription sent too - where yourself of someone you know can collect this for you to reduce footfall through the surgery.

Please also note we will be unable to process requests until they are due to stop the amount of medication being 'stock piled'.

Thank you for all of your understanding during this challenging time for all.
