  • by phone

  • video consultations are available on request
Medication queries can be directed to our practice Pharmacist, Mr Sulayman Parvez. Mr Parvez usually has telephone appointments available at short notice and can deal with issues such as:
– medication reviews
– out of stock medicines
– changes to medications following hospital appointments
– requesting repeat prescriptions not visible on the NHS App
We currently have two Physiotherapists working for the practice as part of the Primary Care Network collaboration with our neighbouring surgeries. You can book in directly to see a physiotherapist via reception without needing any referral from a GP. Please note that you may be allocated an appointment at Summertown Health Centre or 19 Beaumont Street Practice.
Practice Nurses are trained to dealt with a wide range of problems including wound care, health education, travel immunisations and cervical smears. Our practice nurse can also provide more specialised advice and follow-up for diabetes, asthma and high blood pressure.
When booking an appointment, it is helpful if you can give your reason for attending, so that we can book you into an appropriate clinic.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, visiting paramedic or arrange a hospital transfer.

We now have a team of visiting paramedics who visit the patients throughout the day provided by the local healthcare authority.
